Matchday 6 is coming up from the Spanish top-flight, and GOtv is here with you to go along for the journey. Barcelona are looking like a well-oiled machine with new head coach Hansi Flick at the wheel, but will they pull off another win against Villareal on Sunday evening?

“It’s great to see how the team performs. But as you know, I work with them every day and I can see the quality,” he said about his players. There’s an African player to look out for in this one, as Ivorian winger Nicholas Pepe continues to settle into a new league.

He has made four La Liga appearances for Villareal, however he has still not opened his account. Will he finally find his shine against the league leaders?

Barcelona’s rivals Real Madrid will have their say on Saturday evening when they go up against Espanyol. The reigning champions have had a lot of attention in the football world lately after acquiring the services of two highly rated players in Endrick and of course, Kylian Mbappe.

The only thing that seems to be of concern for Carlo Ancelotti though, is the number of matches that his team must play in such a competitive landscape.

“The schedule is too demanding. A new competition is coming, and we don’t know how it will turn out,” he said in a press conference.

“It may or may not be more entertaining. But what is certain is that we have two more matches. If the governing bodies don’t start thinking that players get injured because they play too much, we have a problem.”

Sunday promises to be a cracker because Athletic Bilbao is set to take on Celta Vigo, Atletico Madrid go up against Rayo Vallecano and Real Betis host Mallorca.

DR Congo forward Cedric Bakambu is one to look out for in this fixture, because he’s yet to score for Betis since joining during the summer transfer window. The 33-year-old has committed plenty of his time to improving the living conditions of his community back home.

“At the moment I spend a lot of my spare time looking for partners, sponsors and donors, because we have many projects and we are committed to quality and continuity in the level of support we provide to our young sisters and brothers and, more broadly, to all Congolese people who need it,” he says.
