Mzansi Wethu (GOtv channel 3) is set to introduce Vuka Mjita, a groundbreaking show where men openly express their emotions without shame, starting on July 14.
Hosted by Mondli Makhoba, also known as Bhut’Omdala (The Wife, Shaka Ilembe), the show takes men on a therapeutic journey to break down emotional barriers and promote healing.
The aim is to help men reflect on their roles in families and society, providing a platform for empowerment and mental health support.
"We hope to nurture and heal the mental state of our brothers and sons where it's needed," says Shirley Adonisi, Director of Local Entertainment Channels.
Each week, a therapy session designed by Clinical Psychologist and Author Thabang Tlaka will feature a different man confronting his challenges.
Bhut’Omdala emphasizes the importance of understanding one's purpose: "Kuwumsebenzi wethu to find out why we exist, for there is a bigger purpose."
Tune in to Mzansi Wethu (GOtv channel 3) from Sunday, July 14 at 8pm CAT to follow men on their journey to emotional healing and self-discovery.
